Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Perfumer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fragrance creation, a refined nose, and a deep appreciation for the art and science behind perfumery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and product development teams to create distinctive scents for our expanding product range.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fragrance Creation: Develop unique and high-quality fragrances from concept to completion, including formulating initial scent ideas, experimenting with various ingredients, and testing final products.
• Trend Research: Stay current on fragrance industry trends, innovations, and emerging ingredients to ensure our scents remain fresh, relevant, and competitive.
• Collaborative Work: Work closely with internal teams (product development, marketing, etc.) to ensure fragrance creations align with our brand's identity and target audience.
• Ingredient Sourcing: Source and select the highest-quality ingredients that align with our sustainability and ethical sourcing values.
• Testing and Refining: Conduct tests on fragrance compositions, adjusting formulas for scent longevity, stability, and market appeal.
• Customer Feedback: Analyze customer feedback and sales data to refine existing fragrances and guide future creations.
• Quality Control: Ensure all fragrance creations meet the highest standards for quality, performance, and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a perfumer, preferably with a portfolio of successful fragrances across various categories (e.g., fine fragrance, home fragrance, personal care).
• Training: Formal training from a recognized perfumery school (e.g., ISIPCA, Givaudan, Grasse Institute of Perfumery) is highly desirable but not limited.
• Creative Vision: A strong artistic vision with the ability to conceptualize and create fragrances that evoke specific emotions and resonate with our brand values.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of raw materials, fragrance families, and formulation techniques.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to fine-tune fragrances to meet specific client needs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Communication Skills: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to present and explain fragrance concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the North American market and its preferences, with the ability to design fragrances tailored to Toronto's diverse customer base.
